Kitchen Extractors
The results show that the installation of Stainless Steel Acousteel panels, on each side of the Extract Fan Housing, has provided a significant reduction in noise at low to mid range frequencies. There may also have been significant reductions at higher frequencies, however, the noise from the Kitchen Supply & Extract Grilles located almost adjacent to the Fan Assembly, become dominant at these higher frequencies.
